GPUs are now available! I also updated the FAQ with some co-op news and other big news.
Happy Holidays! We now offer Litecoin/Scrypt Mining Rigs! You can either have them shipped to you or have them hosted with vetted IT pros in a specially designed Miner Hosting facility with Miner Hosting LLC at the world’s lowest miner hosting fees.
In R13 news: we had to refund this Round, as our replacement boards received were insufficient to reach promised hashrates (due to damaged or failedhardware). Thank you for being patient with us. Since we didn’t send BTC for this hardware order, BTC is/was available for instant refunds. R13 buyers have or will be given 5% discount vouchers for future or current DZ MC Group Buys.
We just completed 2 KnC Neptune Rounds in R19A and R19B.
We currently have a R17 Black Arrow x-3 Prospero Group Buy that’s currently open.
It’s been a while since I’ve updated this. Since my last update: We’ve had tremendous sales, sold a Bitmine Rig, sold 4 KnC Jupiters, and hosted an exclusive Black Arrow Bullet Run worth 4 TH/s+ almost 4 months ahead of the official BA Prospero launch in late February 2014.
Big news! The DZ MC has gone pro! We have teamed up with Miner Hosting LLC run by bobsag3 and an investor, and Balanced Energy LLC, an oil company in Texas! We have a number of crypto related ventures in the works.
We will always remain true to our roots of low cost ASIC and Bitcoin deals. However, we’re expanding our offerings as we see tremendous opportunities in this new cryptocurrency based economy.
At this point, we had to refund R14x ATM Group Buyers as this method proved to be too legally risky for our little startup. However, we are now offering a one stop POS for investors looking to purchase one or more Robocoin Bitcoin ATMs via our new company: Crypto ATM, LLC.
Please sign up and enter a support ticket if you would like us to contact you further with regards to helping you enter this revolution in crypto ATMs.

Delivery is estimated before the EOB tomorrow:
We should be up and running for a test run in Minnesota tomorrow afternoon or tomorrow evening for the co-op’s first operational Industrial Class ASIC Rigs!
BTW, we’re all sold out too and we’re even back ordered! Nice!
We’re going to sort everything out and do our best to make Group Buyers happy about any steps made to resolve any oversold situations.
10/5/13, Late PM
Below is a sanitized screencap of Round5 and Round 6 Jupiters incoming from the EU.
Delivery estimate is Monday to Minnesota for a quick test with -Redacted- (AKA rsbriggs) and then shipment and delivery to Missouri with bobsag3 (AKA Flying_Jews on Reddit).
If you haven’t heard, we’ve set up a subreddit just for the Cooperative.
We hope you’ll sign up if you’re not already a Redditer as it provides an alternate avenue for DZ MC communications for when the forums are down (like now). It’s also a good side method of communications where we can communicate more freely outside of Round X threads on the GB forum. It’s also a good way to let the Cooperative learn a little more about yourself! We have people from all walks of life represented and everyone truly is appreciated and respected here. I’m as surprised as anyone that our lil co-op has grown so quickly, yet ably.
Welcome to the Co-op News page. We were going to set this up eventually but were forced to move up our plans due to the ongoing BTC Talk Forums outage. Just because the forum’s down doesn’t mean that your Group Buy Coordinators have been sipping Mai Tais and putting our collective feet up. A huge thanks to Thomas once again for setting up the co-op’s site and doing a great job at promptly working out the inevitable bugs.
If you haven’t heard: The R5 and R6 Below Cost KnC Jupiter Group Buys are still ON.
Nothing has changed as far as the completion of the R5 and R6, and word is that we may receive the miners as early as Monday!
In other co-op news:
- Round 1, a HashFast Baby Jet, Order 991, is being hosted by vetted miner host firsttimeuser in New York, for those that didn’t know.
- Round 2, HashFast Baby Jet, Order 616, is completely closed out and on its way to vetted miner host bobsag3 for hosting in his professional colocation facility in Missouri.
- Round 3 and Round 4 news: Cara has confirmed that our order is complete and it will show up as Order #1981 when they update the Public Order Chain. These two HashFast Sierras are heading to bobsag3 as well. If you haven’t heard, or missed the post: Cara says she “hearts” our co-op and personally (if not officially) likes what our Cooperative is doing. Thanks Cara!
- Congratulations to -Redacted-! We now have triple redundancy with 3 trusted forum members who have awareness of the relevant Private Keys in order to help ensure that people get paid even if an emergency arises with 1 or 2 Key holders, or if one of the Key holders gets amnesia (or something) and forgets the Key PW.
Give him a big virtual pat on the back and a toast for making all of this possible in the first place for R5 and R6. Speaking of R5 and R6: as the first Co-op member set to receive a pre-ordered miner, he’s already set up the test wallets:
With these 6 miners, the co-op is up to an estimated 4TH/s+ of 28nm ASIC hardware on order from HashFast and KnC. With extra cooling and incremental overclocking, our target HashRate with these six miners is: 5 to 5.3TH/s.
We will not risk these miners by overclocking them too far. All Overclocking attempts will be done in an incremental fashion, with close local coordination with firsttimeuser or bobsag3, and close monitoring of things such as temps, fan speeds (if any), and high hashing error rates.
Both miners have been designed to be overclocked, but they weren’t designed to go twice as fast, as far as I know (and we definitely won’t be the first ones to try). Now, that’s just asking for trouble.
Looking ahead, because it’s one of my jobs, once the forum’s back up:
- The R1 Upgrade shares are still wide open. A little less than half of the R2 Upgrade shares are wide open.
To take advantage of the limited quantity promotion for HF B1 owners the GB Coordinators (Thomas and DZ) and Remote Admins (jungle_dave, -Redacted-, and DZ) in charge of the Co-op, and the most vocal members of the co-op who had an opinion, have collectively decided (with no public or private objections raise so far) that we will OPEN up available R1 and R2 shares for co-op reservations first, and to the general public. We’re essentially issuing another 40 shares (80 total) because we’re doubling our hashrate.
These upgrade shares are essentially 75% off Round 1 HF Baby Jet prices which were 1.55BTC or $155 each. Buying an upgrade or participating in a Group Buy for an upgrade, may be the best deal around once R5/R6 shares are all snapped up.
TL;DR: R1/R2 upgrade shares available: $43 each.*
*The pre-condition to any R1/R2 sale to a buyer that is NOT the original share owner has all the way up until the upgrade parts ship in late November. If a share is claimed, and a co-op member or general forum user member sells the orig. buyer back their share, at cost, a small tip would be appreciated for the person that basically kept your seat warm *and* still helped the co-op secure the upgrade.
OTOH: any people bumped from R1/R2 upgrade shares will automatically be the first ones privately contacted with regards to any other future at-cost or even below-cost Group Buys the DZ Miners Coooperative undertakes, as a form of compensation for being bumped out of purchased upgrade shares.
A final note for HF Sierra share owners: If one looks at that 2RU unit, there seems to be an empty 4th slot. Hmm, wonder what that could be for? Perhaps an empty space for a future 4th GN chip to get to a default 1.6TH/s+?
